Frequently Asked Questions

Some information to help customers better understand what mobile grooming is and what it provides.

01

Can you brush my dogs' teeth?

I don't provide tooth brushing as a service. Imagine if humans only brushed their teeth every six to eight weeks, that would be great business for the dentist but not for the human. A dog's teeth need to be done every day starting when they are young. I can give advice on how to brush a pets' teeth and how to train them to allow it.

02

Can I be in the truck while my pet is groomed?

I won't say that I don't allow pet owners in the truck but, from experience, I know that your pet is going to be more difficult if you are present. When it is one-on-one with the groomer, they are more focused and the process is easier.

03

What does it cost to have my pet groomed?

Each pet is different so I can give you an estimate but a final price can only be made once I meet the dog.

05

What if my dog doesn't like his nails clipped?

A dog is very tactile sensitive on their feet, especially the front. I try everything with every animal but if they become very upset or struggle I go on to something else. I will not risk injury to either a pet or myself. Grooming is like training, each time the pet gets used to the process and sometimes a pet that doesn't like nail clipping will eventually allow it after several sessions of 'training'.

Is there a limit to the size of the dog ?

Yes, I am not a large person, and work alone in my truck. I do not groom large breeds such as Newfoundlands, Bernese Mountain dogs, etc. or any dog over 45 pounds.
